My two little babies are now one year old. Both are walking and just so cute. They don’t say much apart from Dada and Mama. Actually that is all they say except Leo whose favourite word is “Art” which of course means nothing except that he is happy. When Sofia is happy she purrs – she does this weird gurgle sound at the back of her throat which sounds like a cat purring!
We had a little party at home for them where they enjoyed being spoilt and eating cake. Leo had a “Leo the Lion” on his cake and Sofia had “Tweety-bird” – because she has these huge cheeks that look just like the cartoon character tweety-bird. Eleni was a good big sister at the birthday and did a great job blowing out the candles.
At the moment both of them are loving their outdoor swing and playing in the blow-up pool. Leo is much more game than Sofia which is good as he tends to throw himself around a lot and has gone under quite a few times. Sofia has better balance and does not like to go under the water.
Other news is limited – we had a big storm here a few weeks ago and have to get some of the siding, the gutters and probably the roof replaced. We had huge hail and strong winds and quite a bit of damage in the neighborhood. We are about to start on extending the deck and are nearly finished the bathroom in the basement. Eleni is still going to preschool part-time and doing dance class. Cousin Craig and his wife Tracey had a baby boy this week but we are still waiting on a name!
