Well our little baby weighs about 8.5kg so is not so little any more. She is wearing clothes for a 12 month old and her hair is growing nicely. She has a little curl developing on one side so we think her hair will be wavy. It is also getting lighter in colour but she is still very definitely a little Greek baby.
Eleni is a speedy crawler and loves to stand-up holding on to things. This morning she was holding onto the hairs on Christos’s legs so I think she is getting ready to let go.
She has finished her swim classes where she was a star pupil. She jumped in from the edge and was not fazed by going under the water. In the last two weeks she has also started to wave goodbye to daddy in the morning. She also waved goodbye to the cashier at the supermarket last week.
She is not talking yet apart from mum, mum and da, da which of course we interpret as Mummy and Daddy. Her favourite food aside from formula is electrical cable, bits of carpet and paper. She has been going to Little Gym for a few months now – she loves when they blow bubbles but most of all she loves the other kids – it is a great opportunity to pull other people’s hair aside from mine. I now have some tufts at the side where she managed to pull out a hunk a while ago.
